Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, December 2025 — IIFL Home Loans has announced the appointment of Tushar Kotecha as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), reinforcing the company’s commitment to strengthening its financial leadership as it continues to expand its footprint in the housing finance and fintech ecosystem.
With over two decades of diversified experience across housing finance, fintech, insurance, and corporate finance, Tushar brings a strong record of strategic financial stewardship and governance excellence. In his new role, he will oversee financial planning, regulatory compliance, taxation, and strategic treasury operations, ensuring robust fiscal discipline as IIFL Home Loans accelerates its growth in India’s affordable housing segment.
Before joining IIFL Home Loans, Tushar served as Group Chief Financial Officer at WeRize, where he played a pivotal role in building India’s first socially distributed full-stack fintech platform for emerging middle-class families in smaller cities. Prior to that, he was CFO at Edelweiss Housing Finance Limited and Aditya Birla Housing Finance Limited, leading end-to-end finance, planning, and compliance functions and partnering closely with leadership teams to drive business efficiency and sustainable profitability.
Earlier in his career, Tushar spent nearly nine years at Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance as Head – Accounts & Taxation (Finance Controller), where he managed IFRS implementation, M&A due diligence, and financial reporting for one of India’s leading insurance firms. His career also includes senior finance and taxation roles at WNS Global Services, Accenture, Midday, and Hindustan Construction Company (HCC), giving him deep cross-sector exposure in financial governance, tax structuring, and operational excellence.
A graduate of the Senior Management Programme (SMP) in General and Strategic Management from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA), Tushar’s academic foundation complements his rich professional experience, positioning him to drive strategic financial transformation at IIFL Home Loans.
