Gurugram, Haryana, India, December 2025 – Alok Khetan has stepped into the role of Managing Director, Cornerstone International Group – India operations, marking a significant leadership transition within the organisation. Having joined Cornerstone in 2018 as Managing Partner, he now assumes full responsibility for accelerating the firm’s India strategy, expanding its executive search capability, and strengthening national leadership partnerships. His appointment reflects the organisation’s intent to scale with seasoned leadership, deep industry insight, and a strong collaborative foundation.
Before taking on the Managing Director role, Alok Khetan served for nearly eight years as Managing Partner at Cornerstone International Group – India, based out of the Gurugram office. During this period, he played a pivotal role in building the firm’s India footprint, strengthening client relationships, and enabling leadership hiring across sectors. His partnership with Cornerstone leadership grew steadily, eventually culminating in this expanded mandate.
Prior to Cornerstone, he spent close to fifteen years at Johnson Matthey Chemicals India Pvt. Ltd., where he held key positions including Managing Director, General Manager, and Country Head for Johnson Matthey Japan Inc. His leadership tenure involved driving growth in India, building new business pathways, and expanding Johnson Matthey’s presence across technology and materials-based competencies. His global scope and cross-cultural leadership experience remain central to his professional strength.
In the earlier part of his corporate journey, Alok Khetan served as General Manager at ICI, where he spent almost fifteen years overseeing business operations, strategic initiatives, and organisational development across different regions. His experience at ICI laid the foundation for his later leadership roles in the chemicals, materials, and manufacturing sectors.
Across his three-decade career, Alok Khetan has demonstrated depth in business leadership, strategic growth, and cross-border management. His educational foundation includes an MMS in Management from BITS Pilani and a Leadership Skills for Top Management programme from the Indian School of Business, equipping him with strong managerial, analytical, and leadership competencies suited for large-scale organisational growth.
