Raleigh, North Carolina, United States, December 2025 — Kari Delahunty has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer at AMR Clinical, marking a significant leadership elevation within one of the most established research networks in the United States. With more than two decades of experience across clinical research, life sciences, corporate strategy and operational leadership, she brings deep expertise to her new role, guiding AMR Clinical’s next chapter of expansion and integrated clinical excellence.
Most recently, Kari Delahunty served as Chief Operating Officer at AMR Clinical, where she oversaw large-scale operational integration, enterprise-wide delivery systems and organizational performance. Her leadership contributed to enhanced oversight across AMR’s multi-site footprint, further strengthening consistency, quality and speed in clinical trial execution.
Before joining AMR Clinical, she held the role of President, Pharma/Life Sciences at Shearwater Health, where she led strategic growth across global pharmaceutical and life sciences functions. Her work advanced service capabilities, operational alignment and client impact across a high-growth portfolio.
Earlier, Kari Delahunty spent more than three years at Syneos Health, serving first as Vice President, Corporate Strategy and Change Management, and later as Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategy. In these roles, she shaped enterprise transformation, managed strategic acquisitions and contributed to the integration of global commercial and clinical operations. Her strategic leadership supported the company’s mission to accelerate biopharmaceutical performance worldwide.
Prior to Syneos Health, she spent nearly fourteen years at INC Research, where she progressed through multiple leadership positions including Vice President, Corporate Strategy and Change Management; Executive Director, Corporate Strategy; Senior Director, Corporate Strategy; Director, Corporate Strategy; and roles across global operations management. This long-tenured experience allowed her to build deep functional expertise in acquisitions, operational infrastructure, project management and process optimization.
Earlier in her career, Kari Delahunty gained foundational experience across progressive roles at INC Research, Taylor Vitreoretinal, PharmaTech Services Inc. and GlaxoSmithKline, sharpening her capabilities across clinical operations, regulatory documentation, systems management and project leadership. These formative years established the technical and operational base that continues to influence her executive leadership.
Kari Delahunty earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Engineering with a Bioprocessing concentration from North Carolina State University, followed by a Master of Business Administration in Business Administration and Management from the same institution.
