Bethesda, Maryland, United States, December 2025 — Sharon Rosenthal has started a new position as Chief Human Resources Officer at ProShares, taking on a pivotal leadership role to shape the firm’s people strategy, talent development, and culture as the organization continues to expand its innovation footprint in the ETF industry.
Before joining ProShares, Sharon Rosenthal served as Senior Advisor at Felix, supporting organizational priorities with her extensive HR leadership experience. Her advisory role drew on decades of expertise in strategic HR, talent transformation, and executive leadership across the financial services sector.
Prior to this, Sharon built a remarkable twelve-year tenure as Chief Human Resources Officer at Envestnet, Inc., where she oversaw global HR strategy for more than 3,000 employees across the U.S. and India. At Envestnet, she implemented agile compensation and performance programs, strengthened employee development, and managed workforce transitions during the company’s shift from public to private ownership. Her leadership extended to integrating more than 1,000 acquired employees and optimizing global HR operations through the implementation of Workday.
Before Envestnet, Sharon served as VP, HR Business Partner at Aviva, supporting HR strategy for North American Finance, Actuary, and Risk teams. She played a key role in building talent capabilities, partnering with senior leaders, and enhancing HR processes for a multi-location workforce.
Her earlier experience includes senior HR leadership positions at CNA Insurance, Merrill Lynch, and ABN AMRO Bank N.V., where she led human resources for complex business units, multi-regional teams, and technology organizations. Sharon began her HR career at Fremont Compensation Insurance Group, gaining foundational expertise across HR management and employee relations.
