Gurugram, Haryana, India, December 2025 — Raman Deep Singh has taken on the role of Chief Collection Officer at Clix Capital, marking a significant milestone in his two-decade journey across collections, credit, legal strategy, and financial risk management. In this new mandate, he will lead national collections strategy, oversee portfolio health, and strengthen the organisation’s legal and risk frameworks across secured and unsecured lending.
Before joining Clix Capital, Raman Deep Singh served at SMFG India Credit, where he most recently held the role of Head Secured Collections – General Manager. Over close to two years, he led secured collections with a focus on portfolio health, legal strategies, and nationwide operational improvements. His earlier role as Senior Vice President at SMFG India Credit further strengthened his leadership in high-value debt recovery and legal proceedings, reinforcing his ability to manage large, complex portfolios with precision.
Prior to this, Raman Deep Singh spent four years at Fullerton India Credit Company Ltd., where he served as Senior Vice President and National Collection Manager – Secured Collections. Across these positions, he managed PAN-India secured portfolios, oversaw a sizeable collections workforce, coordinated cross-functional initiatives with business and risk teams, and led major legal actions under SARFAESI, DRT, Arbitration, and other statutory frameworks. His robust understanding of retail, business banking, and corporate banking products was instrumental in enhancing portfolio performance and improving compliance structures.
Earlier in his career, he served at YES BANK as Vice President, leading collections across North India for the SME and business banking portfolio. His strong command over various corporate banking products, delinquency management, RBI regulatory classifications, and high-risk account resolution positioned him as a go-to expert in strategic collections, legal escalations, and recovery programs during this tenure.
His foundational years were shaped through impactful roles at Capital First Limited, Standard Chartered Bank, and GE Capital, where he managed large regional portfolios across mortgage, BIL, auto, SME-BIL, and write-off accounts. He built expertise in litigation management, fraud control coordination, audit processes, and operational governance. His early years included recognition through multiple awards for collection excellence, legal execution, and leadership impact.
