Bengaluru, Karnataka, India – December 2025 — Vishal Chopra has taken on a new role as Managing Director and GCC Lead at Accenture, where he will lead the firm’s efforts in building and scaling next-generation Global Capability Centers (GCCs). He will play a key role in partnering with clients to drive measurable business outcomes and operational excellence through advanced digital, AI-powered GCC strategies.
Prior to joining Accenture, Vishal worked as an Independent Consultant and Advisor, where he specialized in helping organizations optimize their GCC strategies, governance models, and talent transformation agendas. His work enabled businesses to unlock the full potential of their global centers.
Before this, Vishal served as Senior Director and Center Head of Global Business Services India at Herbalife, where he led the setup and expansion of the shared services center, overseeing a 1,300+ member team across diverse functions and driving efficiency, transformation, and business support.
In a prior entrepreneurial stint, he was Founder & CEO of Stratnique Consulting, offering advisory support to several organizations including EY, GAME, and Lodestar. He focused on business strategy, stakeholder engagement, and startup advisory.
Earlier, at Thomson Reuters, Vishal headed the GCC Strategy & Transformation function, leading a global team of over 11,000, with a focus on cost optimization, CoE models, and shared service innovation. He played a key role in driving significant bottom-line impact and spearheaded a number of enterprise-wide transformations.
In earlier leadership roles across organizations like Manipal Global Education Services, Kantar, The College Board, and Pitney Bowes, Vishal consistently demonstrated strength in strategic foresight, innovation-led consulting, and GCC transformation, establishing himself as a trusted voice in business strategy and talent operations.
