His elevation to Managing Director reflects the company’s confidence in his leadership and vision to accelerate growth and innovation across its core and emerging segments.
Before joining Finolex Industries, Udipt served as Chief Commercial Officer at Alkyl Amines Chemicals Limited, where he played a pivotal role in driving strategic business transformation and expanding market presence across India. Earlier, he spent over nine years at Cargill, leading the specialty and industrial chemicals businesses across India and the Asia-Pacific region, where he successfully executed regional growth strategies and built high-performance teams.
Udipt’s career began with a long and successful tenure at BASF, where he held multiple regional and global leadership roles across Asia-Pacific and India. His work spanned business development, market expansion, and strategic planning, providing him with deep insights into the specialty chemicals sector and the dynamics of global supply chains. He also worked with Jubilant Ingrevia Limited (formerly Vam Organic Chemicals Ltd.) and Shalimar Paints, where he developed early expertise in sales, distribution, and industrial marketing.
