Gurugram, Haryana, India, December 2025 — RITES Ltd, a leading engineering consultancy organization specializing in transport infrastructure and project management, has announced the promotion of Tanuj Sukhija to Joint General Manager. This elevation marks a major milestone in Tanuj’s distinguished 12-year journey with RITES, where he has contributed extensively to IT strategy, digital transformation, and project monitoring initiatives across the organization.
In his new role, Tanuj will continue to strengthen technology-driven governance, procurement efficiency, and project monitoring systems, aligning with RITES’ broader mission to drive excellence in infrastructure consultancy. His promotion reflects his consistent leadership and deep expertise in leveraging digital platforms for organizational transformation.
Over the years, Tanuj has held multiple roles of increasing responsibility at RITES. As Deputy General Manager – IT, he led key digital initiatives within the Project Monitoring Unit, optimizing data systems and improving operational transparency. Earlier, as Manager – Information Technology, he played an instrumental role in streamlining procurement processes, e-tendering systems, and digital compliance frameworks aligned with Government Financial Rules (GFR), GeM procurement, and contract management best practices.
Tanuj began his career at RITES as a Graduate Executive Trainee, where he gained experience in data center infrastructure management, SAP HR modules, and application development. His strong technical foundation and leadership vision have made him an integral part of RITES’ technology transformation journey.
