Before joining ByteDance in November 2025, Ghose served at Scaler as Vice President & Head – Customer Experience, Customer Support & Operations, where he led efforts to reshape customer support models and improve service delivery across the organisation. His leadership helped drive operational transformation and set new benchmarks in customer satisfaction.
Prior to Scaler, Ghose held senior support‑operations roles at companies such as Phenom, BYJU’S, Apollo Munich Health Insurance, Amazon, and HSBC — building deep expertise in customer service management, quality assurance, large-scale operations and global delivery standards. This diverse background in customer‑centric operations across technology, insurance, ed‑tech, and banking gives him a unique perspective on trust, safety, and user support mechanisms.
In his new role at ByteDance, Ghose will oversee user support operations, trust and safety policies, content moderation frameworks, and user‑experience standards in India — aligning with the company’s global mission to build safe, healthy and engaging platforms for billions of users worldwide. His experience in global operations and compliance makes him well‑suited to guide ByteDance’s India‑wide support & safety operations in a rapidly evolving regulatory and user environment.
