Dharmessh Kapadia brings close to three decades of deep manufacturing and operations leadership experience across large Indian industrial and engineering organizations. Prior to joining Hero Cycles, he spent nearly five years with Voltas Limited – A Tata Enterprise as Plant Head, where he spearheaded greenfield manufacturing projects and led overall plant operations covering production performance, resource utilization, cost and profitability management, capacity planning, capital budgeting, policy compliance, safety, and risk management. He also played a pivotal role in setting up new product development processes, mould and tool development, and driving large-scale organizational restructuring and turnaround initiatives.

Before Voltas, Dharmessh spent more than sixteen years with Blue Star Limited, where he progressed from DGM Manufacturing to General Manager, leading the entire gamut of manufacturing operations across multiple plants. He was instrumental in building and managing large production teams and driving consistent improvements in productivity, delivery performance, and operational efficiency.

Earlier in his career, he was associated for nearly eight years with Essel Mining and Industries Limited as Deputy Manager, where he led maintenance teams, expansion projects, and implemented World Class Manufacturing frameworks, while also managing ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 systems.

Dharmessh Kapadia holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Nagpur University, which laid the technical foundation for his long-standing leadership in manufacturing excellence and plant operations.
