Cairo, Egypt, June 2026 — CIB Egypt has appointed Kamran Bader as its new Chief Data, Analytics & AI Officer, strengthening its leadership team as the bank accelerates its data modernization and AI-enabled transformation agenda. In his new role, Kamran will lead CIB’s enterprise-wide Data, Analytics and AI strategy, with a focus on strengthening data foundations, scaling artificial intelligence capabilities, improving decision intelligence, and delivering superior customer experiences.
Kamran brings more than two decades of global leadership experience across financial services, telecom, insurance, consulting, digital solutions, fintech, cybersecurity, and government technology. His appointment aligns with CIB Egypt’s mission to build tomorrow’s bank today by bridging high-level strategy with technical execution and embedding data-driven capabilities across the organization.
Prior to joining CIB Egypt, Kamran served as Group Director – Data & AI at Beyon, where he led the enterprise-wide data and AI agenda across the group’s diversified portfolio spanning telecom, fintech, digital solutions, cybersecurity, and government technology. In this role, he shaped and executed data and AI strategy, scaled cloud-native infrastructure, and drove AI innovation to unlock measurable business value.
Before Beyon, he worked with Intact as Project Leader – Intelligent Automation, where he managed intelligent automation initiatives within a large-scale digital transformation agenda. He played a key role in embedding AI into core business systems and processes while aligning technology roadmaps with business priorities to deliver measurable return on investment.
Earlier, Kamran served as Practice Leader – Business Analytics at SAS in Dubai, where he advised executive leadership teams on analytics platforms, data solutions, and AI investments. He helped define analytics strategies, accelerate data monetization, and execute outcome-driven data programs for enterprise clients.
A significant part of his career was spent with Etisalat, where he served as Senior Director – Data & Analytics. In this role, he managed cross-functional data and analytics teams, integrated customer data into strategic and commercial decision-making, and built machine learning-driven marketing capabilities to enhance revenue growth and customer experience.
Kamran began his leadership journey with Mobily as Business Analysis Manager, where he designed the business and data architecture that supported the successful launch of Saudi Arabia’s second mobile operator. This early experience laid the foundation for his extensive expertise in data architecture, commercial analytics, and enterprise transformation.
With his strong background in data strategy, artificial intelligence, business analytics, digital transformation, cloud-native infrastructure, and customer intelligence, Kamran is well positioned to lead CIB Egypt’s next phase of AI-led innovation and data-driven growth.
