Milan, Lombardy, Italy, June 2026 — Mara Lucini has joined Micron Technology as Regional People Lead for EMEA, bringing more than two decades of international experience in talent acquisition, human resources, organizational transformation, workforce strategy, and leadership development. Her appointment strengthens Micron’s people leadership capabilities across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa as the company continues to drive innovation in memory and storage technologies powering the global data economy.
In her new role, Mara will lead the people strategy across the EMEA region, supporting organizational growth, talent development, workforce transformation, leadership effectiveness, and employee engagement initiatives. Her extensive experience in building global talent organizations and leading large-scale HR transformations positions her well to support Micron’s continued expansion and innovation agenda.
Prior to joining Micron Technology, Mara spent more than a decade with HP, most recently serving as Head of Global Recruiting Business Partners. In this role, she established and built a globally integrated recruitment function from the ground up, supporting People Partners and senior business leaders worldwide. She led enterprise-wide hiring strategies, AI-enabled recruitment transformation initiatives, internal mobility programs, and global talent acquisition operations supporting more than 6,000 hires annually.
Earlier at HP, Mara served as EMEA Talent Acquisition Director, where she was selected to create and lead HP Inc.’s Talent Acquisition organization across more than 35 countries following the Hewlett-Packard split. She managed recruitment strategy, workforce planning, employer branding, graduate programs, mobility initiatives, diversity and inclusion programs, and talent acquisition operations across the EMEA region. During her tenure, she also led the implementation of cutting-edge recruitment technologies, including AI-powered talent solutions integrated into Workday.
Before HP Inc., Mara spent over fifteen years with Hewlett Packard Enterprise and legacy Hewlett-Packard organizations, holding several HR and talent leadership roles. These included HP General Western Europe Software Business HR, where she was a member of the regional leadership team supporting organizational growth, talent management, workforce transformation, and change management initiatives across Western Europe.
She also served as EMEA Program Manager, overseeing large-scale recruitment operations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. In this capacity, she managed outsourced and in-house recruitment models, coordinated multinational talent acquisition teams, supported major acquisitions and integrations, and led sourcing strategy development across multiple countries.
Earlier in her career, Mara held positions including Recruitment Specialist, Compensation & Benefits Specialist, and HR Operations Coordinator, building strong expertise across employer branding, workforce planning, compensation, organizational effectiveness, HR operations, talent management, and employee experience.
With more than twenty-five years of experience spanning global talent acquisition, HR strategy, organizational transformation, workforce planning, diversity and inclusion, and leadership development, Mara brings a wealth of expertise to Micron Technology as it continues to strengthen its global workforce and drive innovation across the semiconductor industry.
