At PropertyGuru Group, Ruth Kerr has spent around two years in senior HR leadership, most recently as HR Director, Head of HR Business Partnering. In this capacity, she has been at the center of driving people strategy, partnering with business leaders, and supporting the Group’s growth across multiple Southeast Asian markets. Her elevation to Chief People Officer reflects the trust placed in her ability to deepen the company’s culture, strengthen leadership capability, and support future expansion.
Before joining PropertyGuru, Ruth built a rich, multi-market HR career with Dyson, spending roughly six years in roles including Global HR Director – RDD, Operations and Quality, Global HR Director – Finance IT and Estates, and Senior HR Business Partner across the United Kingdom and Singapore. She partnered closely with global engineering, operations, finance, and technology teams, helping align people strategies with Dyson’s innovation-led business model.
Earlier, she spent over seven years with Macquarie Group in the London market, progressing to Associate Director – HR. In this role she served as HR business partner to front office groups in EMEA and was an active member of the regional Diversity Action Group and gender network steering committee. Ruth’s foundational years were spent in employment law, where she worked as an Employment Lawyer at Wragge & Co LLP in the West Midlands, England. This experience gave her a strong grounding in employment legislation and risk management, which later became a strategic advantage in her HR leadership roles across banking, financial services, technology, and now PropTech.
