United States, December 2025 – Richard Mihalic has taken on a new role as Director, Human Resources – Inclusive Diversity at Allstate, where he will continue to strengthen enterprise-wide Inclusive Diversity & Equity (IDE) efforts and partner across the organization to deliver transformative DEI strategies.
Richard Mihalic has been with Allstate for over 17 years, during which he has taken on a variety of impactful roles. Before his promotion, he was Senior Manager, Inclusive Diversity, where he led enterprise-wide IDE programs and managed team operations. Prior to this, he served as Manager and Lead Consultant – Inclusive Diversity, contributing significantly to inclusion councils, strategic partnerships, and advancing equity initiatives across the business.
Earlier in his journey at Allstate, Richard held several leadership positions in the Claims function, including Claims Manager and Senior Delivery Manager. In these roles, he led diverse teams, drove top-tier customer service, and developed talent through intentional coaching and development plans. His ability to lead through change was evident when he guided over 100 employees through office transitions and organizational restructuring.
Outside his formal roles, Richard served as President of the National PRIDE Employee Resource Group, where he supported LGBTQ+ inclusion efforts and promoted a culture of belonging. He is also an experienced Workshop Facilitator, conducting sessions on employee wellness, DEI, team trust, goal setting, and more—contributing to a culture of learning both within and outside the organization.
