Brooklyn Travel has announced the appointment of Lois McMurtrie as their new Group Head of Human Resources. McMurtrie brings over a decade of HR experience to the position, where she will oversee HR operations across Brooklyn Travel’s diverse portfolio, including Stewart Travel, Destinology, and Canterbury Travel.
Prior to her new role, McMurtrie served as Principal Consultant at AAB People from January 2024 to April 2024, where she led the HR and Employment Law Service. Her tenure at AAB People was preceded by a significant role at French Duncan LLP, where she was the Head of HR and Employment Law from November 2021 to May 2023. During her time there, she played a pivotal role in shaping the firm’s HR strategies and employment law practices.
McMurtrie’s earlier positions include HR Manager at French Duncan LLP, where she served from May 2019 to November 2021, and HR Consultant roles at various organizations over the years. Her career began as a Junior HR and Employment Law Advisor at Xact Group Ltd, marking the start of her professional journey in the field.
