Gurugram, Haryana, India, December 2025 — Mandeep Singh has taken up the position of Chief Operating Officer – Lease Business at Avis India, where he will lead the strategic and operational expansion of the company’s rapidly growing vehicle leasing business. In this role, he will focus on strengthening operational excellence, digital transformation, customer experience leadership, and market share growth across India’s corporate and retail leasing segments.
Mandeep Singh brings with him extensive global automotive leadership experience, most recently having spent nearly five years with Oman Trading Establishment (OTE Group) as Dealer Principal – General Motors & Subaru, based in Muscat. During this tenure, he was responsible for building Chevrolet and Cadillac brands across Oman, overseeing sales, aftersales, parts and marketing operations, P&L stewardship, and leading major diversification initiatives including renewable energy, EV charging and green mobility solutions. His leadership significantly strengthened market positioning, customer satisfaction scores and network profitability.
Prior to OTE, he served for over eight years with BMW India, where he held senior leadership roles including General Manager – Sales, Head – Corporate, Direct & Special Sales, and Head – Network & Strategy Planning. In these roles, he played a critical part in dealer network expansion, sales governance across North and Central India, market planning, corporate fleet business growth, and steering premium segment performance.
Earlier in his career, Mandeep Singh held leadership assignments at Porsche Cars India, Allianz Global Assistance, and GE Capital, where he built deep expertise across automotive retail strategy, network development, financial services, and product and channel management, laying the foundation for his strong multi-sector leadership capabilities.
