Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, December 2025 — Soliflex Packaging Pvt Ltd has announced the appointment of Tapas Chakrabarti as Vice President – Human Resources, marking a new chapter in his accomplished career in HR leadership. In this role, Tapas will spearhead the company’s people strategy, focusing on organizational development, talent management, and employee engagement as Soliflex strengthens its position as a leading global manufacturer of bulk packaging solutions.
With a career spanning over 15 years, Tapas brings a rich blend of experience across automotive, manufacturing, retail, infrastructure, and IT services sectors. Prior to this role, he served as Head of Section at Kia India, where he contributed to key HR programs and process innovation across the organization.
Before his tenure at Kia, Tapas was General Manager – Human Resources Business Partner at ZETWERK, where he drove strategic HR initiatives, workforce planning, and leadership development programs supporting the company’s growth trajectory. His earlier career includes leadership roles as Senior HR Business Partner at Reliance Retail and Corporate HRBP – SPAR at Landmark Group, where he led employee engagement, HR operations, and business transformation initiatives.
Tapas also gained valuable experience in public sector and IT domains through roles at Ircon International Ltd. (a Government of India undertaking) and Cognizant Technology Solutions, where he began his professional journey as a Programmer Analyst before transitioning into HR.
An alumnus of Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar (XIMB), Tapas holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) in Human Resources Management. He also earned his Engineering degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Institute of Technology and Marine Engineering (WBUT), where he secured an outstanding academic record. His unique combination of technical and human capital expertise enables him to bridge people, process, and performance seamlessly.
