Spring, Texas, United States, December 2025 – Orion S.A. (NYSE: OEC) has appointed Jon Puckett as Chief Financial Officer, strengthening its global financial leadership as the company accelerates innovation, sustainability initiatives and expansion across specialty and high-performance carbon black applications worldwide.
In his new role, Jon will oversee global finance strategy, capital planning, investor relations, M&A, enterprise performance management and governance across Orion’s worldwide operations spanning innovation centers on three continents and 14 manufacturing plants.
Prior to joining Orion S.A., Jon spent over 14 years at Celanese, one of the world’s leading chemical and materials companies. Most recently, he served as Vice President, Global Supply Chain – Engineered Materials, and earlier as CFO – Acetyl Chain and Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis, where he led global finance, FP&A, performance management and strategic growth programs supporting complex multi-billion-dollar materials portfolios. He also held senior leadership roles as Vice President, FP&A, Senior Business Director, CFO – Materials Solutions Core, and Vice President – Investor Relations, playing a pivotal role in portfolio strategy, operational excellence, and capital deployment.
Earlier, Jon held senior finance leadership roles at Affiliated Computer Services (ACS) as Senior Vice President & CFO – Government Healthcare Solutions and Vice President – Investor Relations & M&A, where he drove corporate development, large-scale transactions, and investor communications. He also served in leadership positions at Nokia, KPMG, and PricewaterhouseCoopers, building a deep foundation in transaction advisory, M&A, investor relations, and financial governance across global enterprises.
