Sara D’Elia brings to RPIA a rich background with over a decade of strategic human resources experience across several major financial institutions. Before her current role, D’Elia served as the Associate Vice President of Human Resources at CIBC, where she led HR advisory teams across various sectors including retail and corporate banking, both domestically and internationally. Her tenure at CIBC was marked by profound contributions to HR strategy and operations, significantly enhancing employee engagement and corporate governance.

Prior to CIBC, D’Elia held a pivotal role at TD, where her leadership encompassed HR advisory for Retail Product and Business Banking. Her innovative strategies in talent management and organizational development were critical in steering the company through periods of significant digital transformation and strategic reorientation.

D’Elia’s career also includes significant roles at RBC Capital Markets, where she was involved in debt capital markets and strategic projects that underscored her capability in aligning HR objectives with broad corporate goals.
