Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, January 2026 — Saloni Kochhar has been promoted to the role of Managing Director at Goldman Sachs, marking a significant milestone in her long-standing career with the global financial services firm. In her expanded mandate, she will continue to drive digital transformation, workflow modernisation and process innovation initiatives supporting Goldman Sachs’ Global Banking & Markets and Asset & Wealth Management businesses.
In her current promotion at Goldman Sachs, Saloni brings nearly two decades of technology and process transformation leadership within global financial services.
Prior to her elevation to Managing Director, she served as Vice President at Goldman Sachs, where she led digitisation, no-code workflow automation, business process design and large-scale operational transformation initiatives across onshore and offshore teams in India.
Earlier, Saloni was Executive Director at JPMorgan Chase & Co., where she spearheaded enterprise digitisation, workflow automation and transformation programs across the Greater Bengaluru region, strengthening operational efficiency and digital scalability.
She has also built deep institutional expertise at Goldman Sachs through multiple leadership roles including Senior Engineer, Vice President, Senior Analyst and Analyst Developer, contributing to critical technology platforms and global operations over more than twelve years.
Saloni began her professional journey as an Analyst Developer at Goldman Sachs, laying a strong foundation in software engineering, financial technology and process modernisation.
