Pidilite Industries, the renowned manufacturer of adhesives and construction chemicals including popular brands like Fevicol, Dr. Fixit, Fevikwik, and M-Seal, has announced a major leadership change.
Sudhanshu Vats, currently serving as the Deputy Managing Director of Pidilite Industries, has been appointed as the Managing Director designate, poised to take over the reins from Bharat Puri in April next year following the latter’s tenure completion.
The company’s board, in a recent meeting, also approved Kavinder Singh’s appointment as Executive Director and Joint Managing Director designate. Both Vats and Singh are set to officially step into their new roles in April 2025, succeeding Bharat Puri. Singh brings his expertise from Mahindra Holidays and Resorts India Ltd (MHRIL), where he holds the position of Managing Director and CEO.
MB Parekh, Executive Chairman of Pidilite Industries, expressed optimism about the new appointments, highlighting them as a significant step in the company’s leadership journey. “I look forward to working with the two of them in building the Pidilite of the future,” Parekh stated.
Sudhanshu Vats’s career spans notable leadership roles, including CEO and Managing Director at EPL Ltd (formerly Essel Propack Ltd) and an eight-year tenure as Group CEO & Managing Director at Viacom 18 Media. Vats began his illustrious career at Hindustan Lever as a management trainee in 1991, accruing around twenty years of experience in various sales, marketing, and general management leadership roles.
