Gurugram, Haryana, India, January 2026 — Schneider Electric has announced the appointment of Niharika Mohan as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) for the Greater India Zone, effective January 1, 2026. In her new role, she will lead the organization’s People & Culture agenda, driving talent strategy, leadership development, and inclusion-led performance transformation across one of Schneider Electric’s most strategic growth markets. The appointment marks a significant leadership milestone as the company continues to strengthen its future-ready workforce and leadership pipelines across India.
In her most recent role as Vice President – Human Resources, Secure Power (International) at Schneider Electric, Niharika led people strategy, organizational effectiveness, and cultural transformation across more than 80 international markets spanning East Asia, Japan, the Middle East & Africa, India, the Pacific, and South America. She partnered closely with executive leadership to steer digital transformation, data center talent ecosystems, and inclusion-led leadership pipelines for Schneider Electric’s fast-growing Secure Power business.
Previously, she served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Luminous Power Technologies (a Schneider Electric company), where she built and led a unified HR function for a €550 million business with over 5,500 employees across manufacturing, R&D, and commercial operations. She co-created multi-year people strategies aligned with digital upskilling, organizational transformation, leadership succession, and regulatory compliance while strengthening engagement and enterprise culture.
Earlier at Schneider Electric, Niharika held the role of Vice President – Global HR for Strategic Customers and Segments, where she shaped global workforce strategy, led organizational redesign initiatives, and developed specialized global talent pools supporting evolving customer ecosystems. She also served as HR Director – India & South Asia, spearheading the company’s diversity agenda and leading large-scale organizational transformation initiatives across India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh.
At the start of her career, she worked with Aon (Hewitt Associates) and Tata Consultancy Services, building deep expertise across compensation, benefits, HR business partnering, organizational design, and large-scale workforce strategy, creating the foundation for her global HR leadership journey.
