Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, May 2026 — Nikhil Tanwade has joined First Advantage as Director, Talent Acquisition (India, APAC). In this role, he will lead talent acquisition strategy across India and the APAC market, supporting hiring excellence, workforce growth, and recruitment transformation for the global HR technology company.
Before joining First Advantage, Nikhil spent over nine years with Nielsen, where he advanced through leadership roles including Associate Director, Talent Acquisition, Senior Manager Talent Acquisition, and Manager Talent Acquisition. He led talent acquisition strategies for GCC setup, managed high-performing recruitment teams, sourced technical talent, and strengthened candidate experience.
Earlier, Nikhil worked with Gracenote and What’s ON India Media Pvt Ltd, where he strengthened his recruitment expertise in media, entertainment technology, and digital data businesses. His earlier career also includes recruitment and HR roles at Rolta India Limited, AG Technologies, Anlage HRO Services, and Head Hunters.
With over 15 years of talent acquisition and recruitment leadership experience, Nikhil brings strong expertise in hiring strategy, technical recruitment, GCC talent planning, team leadership, and candidate experience to his new role.
