Collegeville, Pennsylvania, United States, May 2025 – Sara Long has been appointed as Vice President, Talent and Transformation at Iron Mountain, where she will lead an enterprise-wide team of approximately 30 HR professionals dedicated to strengthening organizational capability, leadership development, and overall performance. In this newly elevated role, she will continue to shape Iron Mountain’s future through strategic talent initiatives, inclusion and engagement, change management, and organizational effectiveness.
Over the past year, Sara Long served as Vice President, Global HR Strategy & Enablement at Iron Mountain, where she played a pivotal role in driving HR excellence and aligning global strategy to business outcomes. Her leadership helped elevate employee experience through robust governance, process standardization, data-driven insights, and continuous improvement initiatives across HR functions.
Prior to that, she held the role of Senior Director, Head of Global HR Portfolio at Iron Mountain for nearly five years, where she led major initiatives in HR transformation, vendor strategy, resource planning, and M&A readiness. Her governance leadership was critical in aligning HR operations with strategic priorities and ensuring delivery across complex change programs.
Her earlier roles at Iron Mountain included Director and Manager of HRConnect Operations (Shared Services), where she successfully transitioned HR operations to a global support model and led major programs such as the implementation of an applicant tracking system, expansion of shared services to Canada, and HR support for large-scale organizational changes. Her track record in delivering Lean and Six Sigma–driven operational improvements has been instrumental in creating scalable and agile HR infrastructure.
Before joining Iron Mountain, Sara Long worked at Diversified Information Technologies for three years, where she served as Solutions Manager, Director of Operational Business Process, and Director of HR Operations & Employee Engagement. She contributed significantly to process optimization, compliance management, workforce development, and client performance enhancement across the organization.
She began her HR career at The Morning Call, where she worked for nearly eight years in roles ranging from HR Assistant to HR Manager. During this time, she led corporate HR transformation initiatives, managed organizational restructures, and cultivated a safety and service culture through training, innovation, and employee engagement.
