Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, January 2026 — Marlon Herft has started a new position as Head of Partnerships – APAC at Udemy, where he will lead the regional partnerships strategy across priority Asia Pacific markets, driving partner-sourced revenue, co-sell motions, and ecosystem-led growth.
In this role, Marlon will be responsible for scaling strategic relationships with system integrators, resellers, technology partners, and enterprise alliances. He will work closely with cross-functional teams across Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Product to embed partners into the full go-to-market lifecycle—from demand generation to expansion and renewals—while establishing operating cadence, governance, and performance metrics that improve forecast confidence and scalable execution.
At Udemy, Marlon brings nearly six years of progressive regional and international leadership, combining deep customer success expertise with partner-led growth execution. Before stepping into the partnerships leadership role, he served as Head of International Customer Success, where he led international operating models and revenue levers such as renewals strategy, expansion motions, GRR/NRR performance, and long-term account value across enterprise and mid-market customers in APAC and EMEA.
Earlier, he served as Senior Director, Customer Success APAC and Director of Customer Success, APAC, building and scaling customer success leadership across the region, strengthening executive engagement with strategic customers, and aligning post-sale execution to wider go-to-market outcomes.
Alongside his corporate leadership track, he also served as Company Director at Closers Only, where he focused on executive leadership, self-mastery, and personal development coaching, reflecting his long-term commitment to leadership development and capability building.
Prior to Udemy, Marlon held senior commercial leadership roles across the learning and SaaS ecosystem, including General Manager at etrainu and Regional Vice President – Sales ANZ at SumTotal Systems. He also served as Vice President, Asia Pacific at Degreed and Director, Asia Pacific at D2L, where he built multi-country go-to-market and customer success motions across Asia, including channel enablement, customer retention, and new business growth.
