Dubai, United Arab Emirates, January 2026 — Gagan Sehgal has been appointed as Group Chief Executive Officer at Lals Group, marking a significant leadership milestone for one of the most respected family-owned conglomerates in the GCC region. In his new role, Gagan will spearhead the Group’s overall business strategy, multi-country operations, and long-term growth agenda across retail, lifestyle, family retail formats, mall management, distribution, and emerging ventures across the Middle East.
His elevation follows his impactful tenure as Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Lals Group, where he worked closely with the Chairman and Vice Chairman to strengthen governance, optimize operational models, and reinforce leadership depth across markets in the UAE and the wider GCC. His appointment reflects the Group’s confidence in his ability to drive transformation, innovation, and sustained regional expansion.
Gagan’s journey at Lals Group began in Dubai, where he served as Deputy Chief Executive Officer for nearly two years, contributing to business integration, regional strategy alignment, and the strengthening of organizational leadership across retail, mall management, and lifestyle verticals. His leadership during this period laid the foundation for his elevation to Group CEO.
Prior to Lals Group, he spent over four years at Page Industries Limited, where he served as Senior President and Chief Operating Officer and earlier as President – Sales. During this phase, he played a key role in strengthening national sales operations, scaling business performance, and building leadership capability across large multi-city operations.
Before entering the apparel and lifestyle sector, Gagan held senior leadership positions within India’s leading healthcare organizations, serving as Chief Executive Officer at Moolchand Healthcare, Chief Operating Officer at Apollo Hospitals, and Zonal Director at Fortis Healthcare, where he managed large hospital networks, complex P&L portfolios, and multi-thousand-employee organizations while driving operational transformation and patient-centric growth.
Earlier in his career, he built deep commercial leadership experience within Vodafone Essar Cellular Limited, progressing through leadership roles including Head – Sales, Mumbai Circle, Head of Sales (UP West & Uttarakhand), and Zonal Business Head, where he led large-scale telecom operations, market expansion programs, revenue growth strategies, and national best-practice channel innovations.
