Gurugram, Haryana, India, January 2026 — Pushkar Singh has stepped into a new leadership role as Head – HR Systems & Transformation at Bharti Airtel, effective January 2026. In this role, he is responsible for driving enterprise-wide HR technology, digital transformation, and system-led process excellence to support Airtel’s scale and future-ready workforce strategy.
Pushkar has been associated with Airtel for nearly four years and has progressed through multiple strategic HR roles within the organization. Prior to his current appointment, he served as HR Lead – Customer Experience, where he supported people strategy aligned with large-scale customer-facing operations. Before that, he held the role of DGM | HRBP – Emerging Business, contributing to HR business partnering for fast-growing verticals within Airtel.
Before joining Airtel, Pushkar was with DCM Shriram Ltd, where he worked across Corporate HR, HRIT, Industrial Relations, and talent development. As Deputy Manager – Corporate HR & Campus Relations, he led HR technology initiatives including SAP SuccessFactors, Leena AI, and SAP Concur, alongside campus hiring and employer branding. Earlier, as Assistant Manager – HR & IR and Management Trainee – HR & IR, he handled employee engagement, wellness, L&D initiatives, contract workmen management, digital transformation projects, and played a role in union negotiations and large manufacturing operations at the Kota complex.
Pushkar began his professional journey with early exposure through internships at ICICI Bank and Vindhya Telelinks Limited, gaining foundational insights into HR and organizational operations.
Academically, Pushkar holds an MBA in Human Resources Management from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Pune, where he was an active member of the Placement Advisory Team and the HR Conclave core committee.
With strong experience across HR systems, digital transformation, business partnering, and industrial HR, Pushkar’s appointment is expected to further strengthen Airtel’s HR technology landscape and people transformation agenda.
