Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, January 2026 — Sumeet Vishwakarma has started a new position as Head – Warehouse & Logistics at Raymond Lifestyle Limited, strengthening the company’s logistics and distribution leadership as it continues to scale its fashion and lifestyle operations across India.

In his new role, Sumeet Vishwakarma will be responsible for leading warehouse and logistics operations, driving efficiency across distribution networks, and supporting Raymond Lifestyle Limited’s omnichannel growth strategy. His mandate includes strengthening supply chain resilience, enhancing fulfillment performance, and enabling scalable, customer-centric logistics operations.

Prior to this appointment, Sumeet Vishwakarma spent over three years at Bestseller India, where he most recently served as Senior Manager – Supply Chain Management. In this role, he led national-scale supply chain operations across more than 400 retail stores and all e-commerce channels, overseeing end-to-end distribution centre management, logistics strategy, and operational transformation initiatives with a strong focus on automation, scalability, and fulfillment optimization. Earlier at Bestseller India, he also worked as E-Commerce Manager, spearheading end-to-end e-commerce supply chain operations and driving process efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Before joining Bestseller India, he worked with Panasonic India as Operations Manager, where he managed warehouse operations and third-party logistics partners. His earlier experience includes progressive leadership roles at Stellar Value Chain Solutions Pvt. Ltd., where he served as Operations Manager, Solutions Architect, and Head – Inventory, building deep expertise in inventory management, warehouse optimization, and process improvement.

He began his logistics and supply chain career with Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, working as Project Analyst and Operations Officer, gaining exposure to operations analysis, P&L management, cost optimization, and process implementation. Earlier, he also worked with Mahindra Logistics as Executive – Operations, managing warehouse operations and line-feed support.

Prior to joining Apollo, Matt was Chief Talent Officer at BlackRock as well as a member of the Operating Committee. Previously, he held strategy, talent, and innovation roles at Mastercard, PwC, and CEB/Gartner.

Matt holds a BA in Economics from the University of Southern California, an MSc from the London School of Economics, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He currently serves on the boards of the Lumina Foundation, the Aspen Institute’s Business and Society program, the Milken Institute’s Inclusive Capitalism initiative, and Georgetown University’s initiative on AI, Analytics, and the Future of Work. He is the co-author of numerous Harvard Business School case studies and articles on leadership. Matt has been recognized as a Top Global CHRO multiple times by n2Growth and Stanford Business School.
