New Delhi | 26 July 2026 – HR TODAY today announced the launch of the HR TODAY Hall of Fame Framework, a long-term global recognition initiative designed to identify and celebrate HR leaders whose work has created measurable and sustained impact on organisations, people, the HR profession and society.

The launch also marks the commencement of the assessment cycle for the HR TODAY Global 100 HR Leaders – Hall of Fame 2026, the flagship recognition under the new framework.

Unlike traditional awards programmes, the HR TODAY Hall of Fame is founded on a simple philosophy: recognition should be earned through measurable impact, not purchased through commercial participation or influenced by popularity.

Assessment Commenced on 1 July 2026

The 2026 assessment officially commenced on 1 July 2026 and is powered by the HRIMPACT™ Leadership Assessment Framework—HR TODAY’s proprietary AI-enabled, evidence-based assessment with expert validation.

The framework evaluates HR leadership across multiple dimensions, including organisational transformation, business impact, people outcomes, innovation, professional contribution, thought leadership and societal influence.

Since the commencement of the assessment, HR TODAY’s research team has connected the professional profiles of more than 5,000 CHROs, Chief People Officers and senior HR leaders from over 40 countries to the assessment platform. The global database continues to expand as additional leaders from multinational corporations, public enterprises and high-growth organisations are identified and assessed.

Every Assessment Begins with a Clean Slate

Early analysis has produced one of the most compelling insights from the current assessment cycle.

Approximately 50% of the leaders recognised in the HR TODAY Global 100 HR Leaders – Hall of Fame 2025 currently retain a position within the projected Global Top 100, while the remaining positions are occupied by leaders demonstrating stronger evidence of impact based on the current year’s assessment.

This reinforces a defining principle of the HR TODAY Hall of Fame Framework:

Every assessment cycle begins with a clean slate. Previous recognition does not guarantee future inclusion. Every leader is reassessed independently based on current evidence of impact.

Introducing the HR TODAY AI Assessment Pool – Distinguished Leaders 2026

To further strengthen transparency, objectivity and data completeness, HR TODAY is introducing the HR TODAY AI Assessment Pool – Distinguished Leaders 2026.

Leaders demonstrating strong HRIMPACT™ scores and positive assessment trends will be invited to join this distinguished assessment pool. These leaders will be encouraged to submit additional evidence aligned with the HRIMPACT™ assessment parameters, enabling the research team to validate publicly available information and ensure that every assessment reflects the most comprehensive representation of professional achievement.

This initiative is intended to improve both the quality of the underlying data and the transparency of the overall evaluation process.

A Structured Global Recognition Framework

The HR TODAY Hall of Fame Framework will progressively recognise outstanding HR leadership through multiple stages, including Distinguished Leaders, Country Hall of Fame recognitions, Regional Hall of Fame recognitions and, ultimately, the HR TODAY Global 100 HR Leaders – Hall of Fame.

Further announcements over the coming months will outline the assessment methodology, governance process, expert validation approach, country and regional recognition structure, and the timeline leading to the final Global 100 announcement.

Building the Future of HR Leadership Recognition

As the HR profession continues to evolve in an increasingly AI-enabled world, the need for credible, transparent and evidence-based leadership recognition has never been greater.

HR TODAY believes that the future of leadership recognition lies in combining responsible artificial intelligence, robust evidence, independent expert validation and continuous assessment to recognise leaders whose contributions create lasting value.

The launch of the HR TODAY Hall of Fame Framework represents another step towards building one of the world’s most respected platforms for recognising excellence in human resources leadership.
