Singapore, January 2026 — Jaivinder Gill has been promoted to Senior Vice President & Managing Director at Diebold Nixdorf, marking a significant leadership milestone in his long-standing association with the global banking and retail technology major.

In his expanded role, Jaivinder Gill will continue to provide strategic leadership across key international markets, building on his deep expertise in banking technology, operations, and regional management. His promotion reflects Diebold Nixdorf’s confidence in his ability to drive growth, strengthen client partnerships, and advance digital transformation initiatives across complex and diverse geographies.

Jaivinder Gill has been with Diebold Nixdorf for over a decade, most recently serving as Regional Vice President & Managing Director – Banking, Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa, a role he has held since January 2023. Prior to this, he was Regional Vice President & Managing Director – Banking, Asia Pacific & Middle East, and earlier Regional Vice President & Managing Director – Asia Pacific, Russia and Eastern Europe. Across these roles, he has led large, multicultural teams and overseen banking technology operations across some of the world’s most dynamic and regulated markets.

Earlier in his tenure at Diebold Nixdorf, he served as Regional Vice President and Managing Director, Banking – Asia Pacific, followed by Vice President Operations – Asia Pacific & Managing Director – South Asia, where he was instrumental in strengthening operational excellence and regional market performance.

Before joining Diebold Nixdorf, Jaivinder Gill spent nearly five years at NCR Corporation, where he held senior leadership roles including Vice President – South Asia Pacific Region and Managing Director, overseeing financial services business across Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, India, and neighboring markets.

His earlier career includes leadership roles at Lenovo India as Executive Director – Commercial Business, Dell Technologies as Director, ATS Services Pvt Ltd as Business Leader, and American Express, where he began his professional journey as a Team Leader.

Matthew Breitfelder is Partner and Global Head of Human Capital at Apollo, where he focuses on attracting extraordinary talent to the firm and creating an innovative, inclusive, high-performance culture that brings out the best in Apollo’s people. Matt leads Apollo’s recruiting, talent management, compensation, succession planning, citizenship, employee relations, development, and culture work. He is also a member of the firm’s Leadership Team. Matt is committed to expanding opportunities across Apollo’s workplace, marketplace, and communities. Prior to joining Apollo, Matt was Chief Talent Officer at BlackRock as well as a member of the Operating Committee. Previously, he held strategy, talent, and innovation roles at Mastercard, PwC, and CEB/Gartner.

Matt holds a BA in Economics from the University of Southern California, an MSc from the London School of Economics, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He currently serves on the boards of the Lumina Foundation, the Aspen Institute’s Business and Society program, the Milken Institute’s Inclusive Capitalism initiative, and Georgetown University’s initiative on AI, Analytics, and the Future of Work. He is the co-author of numerous Harvard Business School case studies and articles on leadership. Matt has been recognized as a Top Global CHRO multiple times by n2Growth and Stanford Business School.
