Braselton, Georgia, United States, August 2025 – Nations Roof LLC, a leading U.S.-based commercial roofing contractor, has appointed Robert (“Robby”) Speights as Chief Executive Officer, effective August 18, 2025. Speights succeeds Jake Hyatt, who has served as CEO since June 2023 and will transition to the role of Chief Operating Officer, continuing to oversee all aspects of operations to drive the company’s strong growth trajectory.
Speights, who began his career as a field engineer in 1990, brings 35 years of experience managing and scaling complex, field-driven service businesses, with senior leadership roles at multiple industrial and infrastructure services companies. Most recently, he served as President of Industrial and Energy Groups at Clean Harbors, where he launched the company’s “Safety First” initiative, reducing its total recordable incident rate from 0.97 to 0.24 over more than 20 million hours worked, and driving significant revenue growth through commercial strategy alignment, multiple acquisitions, and performance improvement across verticals. Earlier in his career, he held executive roles at Aegion Corporation, HydroChem, and Broadspectrum, where he expanded commercial capabilities and supported both organic and acquisition-led growth.
