Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, January 2026 — Flipkart Group has announced the appointment of Jane Duke as Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer, marking a significant step in strengthening governance, transparency, and regulatory readiness as the e-commerce major continues to scale amid heightened regulatory scrutiny. In this newly created role, Jane Duke will oversee Flipkart’s group-wide ethics and compliance framework, working closely with senior leadership to reinforce institutional governance, risk management, and technology-enabled compliance systems.
With nearly three decades of experience across public-sector enforcement and corporate compliance, Jane Duke brings a deep understanding of regulatory strategy, investigations, and enterprise risk management to Flipkart’s leadership team.
Before joining Flipkart Group, Jane spent over seven years at Tyson Foods, where she held multiple senior leadership roles including Vice President and Associate General Counsel – Regulatory, Enforcement & Business Units, Vice President and Associate General Counsel – Enterprise Risk Management & Law Special Projects, Vice President for Corporate Services, and Chief Compliance Officer, Vice President and Associate General Counsel, leading enterprise-wide compliance, investigations, and risk programs.
Earlier, she was a Partner and Counsel at Mitchell, Williams, Selig, Gates & Woodyard, P.L.L.C., advising clients on complex litigation, regulatory enforcement, and compliance matters.
She also brings extensive public-sector enforcement experience from her tenure at the U.S. Department of Justice, and earlier legal foundations as a Litigation Associate at Wright Lindsey Jennings and as Federal Law Clerk to Chief United States District Judge Stephen M. Reasoner at the United States District Court, Eastern District of Arkansas.
