Serventi, celebrated for his transformative leadership in the indulgent snacking category, joins EVOLVED at a pivotal moment as the company undergoes a significant brand refresh designed to enhance customer experiences and stimulate growth within the modern premium chocolate market.

With more than two decades of experience in the food and beverage sector, Serventi is poised to propel EVOLVED to new heights. Before joining EVOLVED, he was the CEO of HIPPEAS, where he played a crucial role in scaling the brand significantly. He also made notable contributions to barkTHINS, leading to its successful acquisition by Hershey’s. His strategic insight has been instrumental in revitalizing brands like Pirate’s Booty and expanding Glacéau’s vitaminwater and smartwater, which were later acquired by Coca-Cola.

“For the last six months, I’ve been working behind the scenes at EVOLVED, strengthening relationships, and laying the groundwork for innovative brand and channel strategies. It’s been an incredible experience,” said Serventi, reflecting on his transition into the role. His work aligns closely with the ethos of EVOLVED, making his official appointment a natural progression of his initial consultancy role.

Christine Cusano and Rick Gusmano, Co-Founders of EVOLVED, expressed their enthusiasm for Serventi’s leadership. “Joe brings a fresh and unique perspective to EVOLVED. His experience and network are invaluable, and we’re honored to officially welcome him aboard,” they stated. “We view Joe as a leader and a partner in steering EVOLVED towards greater success.”

In conjunction with Serventi’s appointment, EVOLVED is introducing refreshed packaging that embodies a modern, premium aesthetic aimed at reinforcing the brand’s core identity. The new strategy includes influencer partnerships, seasonal offerings, and innovative packaging solutions intended to enhance consumer engagement and distinguish EVOLVED in a competitive market.

Under Serventi’s guidance, EVOLVED plans to expand its reach beyond the Natural Category while remaining committed to its founding principles of excellence, innovation, and sustainable growth. This includes broadening distribution channels, enriching the product lineup, and maintaining the high quality and innovative spirit that EVOLVED is known for.

About EVOLVED:

EVOLVED, founded by Christine Cusano and Rick Gusmano, offers an exceptional chocolate eating experience by merging popular flavors with a premium touch. Dedicated to ethical sourcing and using wholesome ingredients, EVOLVED’s product range includes organic bars, chocolate cups, and seasonal treats. The company’s products are certified Gluten-Free, USDA Organic, and Rainforest Alliance Certified, ensuring a sensational taste without compromise.
