Bentonville, Arkansas, United States, September 2025 — Walmart has announced the appointment of Eric Snieski as Vice President People, Walmart U.S. eCommerce / Health & Wellness. In this role, Snieski will lead people strategies across Walmart’s rapidly growing U.S. eCommerce and Health & Wellness businesses, aligning talent, culture, and workforce development with the company’s transformation agenda.
Eric brings over 40 years of experience with Walmart, making him a seasoned leader deeply rooted in the company’s culture and operations. Most recently, he served as Vice President Human Resources, Walmart U.S. for nearly seven years, where he played a pivotal role in shaping HR strategies for large-scale operations.
Before that, Eric was Senior Director Human Resources, Walmart U.S. for four years, leading HR functions for Central Operations including online grocery pick-up and delivery, eCom grocery technology, asset protection, and innovation initiatives. His earlier leadership as Sr. Director – Human Resources, Walmart U.S. Field Talent Development saw him head a team of 200 learning professionals delivering training and development programs to over 1.3 million associates nationwide.
Earlier in his career, he held multiple leadership positions, including Sr. Director – Walmart U.S. Talent Development, Divisional Director at Wal-Mart University, and Director of Learning Solutions, where he spearheaded critical talent initiatives that transformed workforce capability. He began his Walmart journey as a Store Manager, a role he held for over 16 years, giving him invaluable front-line operational experience.
