Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, January 2026 — CEAT Limited has announced the appointment of Rahul Gama as Senior Vice President – Human Resources. He brings 28 years of leadership experience across South-East Asia, the Middle East, Africa, the United States, Latin America, and India, having worked across FMCG, services, luxury retail, manufacturing, and consulting. This diverse exposure gives him a broad and strategic perspective on human resources leadership.
Before joining CEAT Limited, Rahul Gama was Chief Human Resources Officer at Pidilite Industries Limited. Earlier, he spent close to 14 years with the Godrej Group in senior HR leadership roles and has also worked with Sara Lee, Marico Limited, and Arvind Limited, shaping people strategy across complex, multi-geography organizations.
Most recently, Rahul Gama served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Pidilite Industries Limited in Mumbai, where he led the people agenda for one of India’s most respected emerging market multinationals and pioneers in adhesives, waterproofing, and pigments. His role focused on strengthening organizational capability and supporting business growth through progressive HR practices.
Prior to this, he was part of the Godrej Group as Group Head – HR Experience Centre & Technology and CHRO – Godrej Agrovet Ltd and Godrej Industries Ltd. In this capacity, he led HR for a diversified conglomerate spanning FMCG, chemicals, animal feed, and agri businesses, while also driving shared services, HR technology, digitalization, and analytics across the Group.
Earlier, Rahul spent over 12 years as Chief Human Resources Officer at Godrej Consumer Products Limited, leading HR globally for a multi-continent FMCG organization. During this period, he oversaw significant transformation, global expansion, integration of acquisitions, and the creation of a future-ready people organization across Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, and the United States.
His earlier career includes a year as Vice President – Human Resources at Sara Lee, where he led HR for the joint venture between the Godrej Group and Sara Lee Corporation, followed by nearly a decade at Marico Limited as Head – Corporate HR, where he handled multiple HR centers of excellence and also set up and led HR for Kaya Ltd., a premium skincare services and retail company. He began his professional journey with Arvind Limited as Manager – HR, handling employee relations at manufacturing units after starting as a management trainee.
