Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, February 2026 — Ankur Khurana has been appointed as Head of Citi Commercial Bank in India at Citi India. In this role, she will report to Gunjan Kathuria Kalra, Head of CCB for Japan, Asia North and Australia, as well as Asia South, and will be responsible for driving the strategy, growth, and performance of the Commercial Bank business in India. She will also act as Senior Sponsoring Officer for key clients and work closely with product, risk, and regional partners to deepen cross-border and multinational business flows.
Gunjan Kathuria Kalra brings over two decades of leadership experience at Citigroup, where she currently serves as Managing Director and Asia Commercial Bank Head. In this capacity, she oversees Commercial Banking across Asia and plays a central role in shaping regional growth strategies.
Earlier, she served as APAC Head of Corporate & Public Sector Sales & Solutions, Global Markets at Citigroup, leading large regional portfolios and strengthening client solutions across Asia. She also spent nearly two decades as Managing Director, Global Markets based in Singapore, contributing to the firm’s expansion and market leadership in the region.
Gunjan Kathuria Kalra completed the Asian Financial Leaders Programme and holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the Singapore-MIT Alliance.
