In her new role, Vafia will lead talent management initiatives, focusing on strengthening workforce capabilities, enhancing employee engagement, and driving structured talent development programs aligned with Sutherland’s digital engineering and transformation agenda.
Prior to joining Sutherland, she served as Senior HR at Nibav Home Lifts, where she led leadership hiring, sales recruitment, and end-to-end talent acquisition strategies. Her role involved managing recruitment across multiple functions while supporting business growth through structured hiring and onboarding practices.
Earlier, she worked as Associate HR Manager at Oneitech Learning Solutions, where she contributed significantly to global talent acquisition, onboarding, employee engagement, and sales training initiatives. She also held leadership and business-facing roles at BAGLA GROUP (Aurangabad Electricals Limited), USQUARE, 3FOLD Education Centre, and ADHI India Pvt Ltd, building strong expertise across talent management, sales operations, business development, and team leadership.
Her progression into a talent-focused leadership role reflects her versatile background spanning HR strategy, recruitment excellence, and business operations.
