Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, March 2026 — Eli Lilly and Company has appointed Ravi Iyer as Associate Director, Market Research, Business Insights and Analytics. In this role, Iyer will focus on advancing market research and insight-led decision support, strengthening analytics-led business planning and helping teams translate customer, market, and performance intelligence into actionable growth priorities.
In his journey with Eli Lilly and Company, Ravi Iyer has moved through the organization’s insights and market research track, most recently serving as Senior Consultant (November 2025 to March 2026) after working as Consultant – Market Research (July 2024 to November 2025). He now steps into the Associate Director position (March 2026 to present), bringing continuity across market research execution, stakeholder partnership, and analytics-driven business insights.
Before joining Lilly, Iyer spent nearly five years at Novartis, progressing from Senior Analyst | Insights & Analytics (September 2019 to September 2021) to Manager – Insights & Analytics (September 2021 to June 2024) in Hyderabad. His work in these roles centered on insights generation and analytics support for business teams, contributing to data-backed decision-making across functions.
Earlier, he built a strong foundation in global business analytics at Grail Insights (now Escalent), where he served as Analyst (February 2016 to June 2017), Associate Project Lead (July 2017 to December 2018), and Project Lead (January 2019 to September 2019), delivering research and analytics programs for clients.
Iyer began his professional journey at GD Research Center Pvt. Ltd., working as Associate Analyst (September 2013 to March 2015) and Analyst (April 2015 to February 2016). He also gained early research exposure through trainee projects at Serum Institute of India Limited and IndianOil R&D Center, Faridabad, supporting method development and analytical studies.
