Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, February 2026 — SATS Food Solutions India (SFSI), a subsidiary of SATS Ltd., has appointed Puneet Arora as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the Indian sub-continent region.
Puneet brings extensive experience in the food solutions industry, with deep expertise in culinary operations and business management. Since January 2021, he has served as Vice President Manufacturing, SATS Singapore (seconded as General Manager, SATS Thailand), where he led P&L responsibilities and played a key role in a successful business turnaround and stage two facility expansion. He managed large-scale production capabilities, scaling output with advanced technology-driven and sustainable solutions.
Prior to this, he was Director at DSI Foods Limited, where he established a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Heathrow, London, capable of producing 40,000 halal airline and retail meals daily. Under his leadership, the business achieved profitability within the first year and secured major contracts with leading global airline and retail brands.
Earlier, he served as Executive Chef at Emirates Flight Catering, overseeing production of over 200,000 meals per day across multiple facility zones, driving operational excellence, lean manufacturing practices, and financial performance.
His career also includes leadership roles at SATS Ltd. in Singapore, contributing to culinary development and overseas food solutions operations, as well as senior positions at Bangkok International Cuisine, Bombay Halwa Ltd, Kerry / Noon Products Ltd, Jumeirah Group, and Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces, spanning India, Singapore, Thailand, the UK, and the UAE.
