Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, February 2026 – Pavanjit S Bedi has been elevated to Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) – Foods, HUL at Unilever. In this role, he will lead the marketing strategy for the Foods portfolio at Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL), driving product innovation, digital transformation, and brand growth across one of India’s largest FMCG businesses.
Prior to this elevation, Pavanjit served as Global Brand Vice President at Unilever, where he shaped global brand strategy and innovation mandates. Over his 22-year journey with the company, he has held several influential global roles, including Global Brand Director – Pond’s, Global Brand Director – Glow & Lovely, and Global Brand Director – Lifebuoy, leading innovation programs, digital commerce mandates, and purpose-driven brand initiatives across South Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and LATAM.
As Global Brand Director – Pond’s, he delivered the global innovation programme with a strong regional focus while driving e-commerce and digital acceleration. Earlier, he led the landmark rebranding of Fair & Lovely to Glow & Lovely, steering a high-impact transformation initiative. During his tenure with Lifebuoy, he crafted and delivered the brand’s purpose-led social mission agenda, building scale through public-private partnerships and advocacy platforms, including engagement at global forums.
His earlier leadership journey also spans work on iconic brands such as Dove and Pears in the Skin Cleansing portfolio, as well as regional sales leadership roles that strengthened his commercial and market expansion expertise. Pavanjit holds an MBA from Faculty of Management Studies – University of Delhi, further anchoring his foundation in marketing and brand strategy.
