Gurugram, Haryana, India, March 2026 – Bhavna Batra has taken on an expanded mandate at S&P Global as Head of People – India Region, in addition to her ongoing role as Global Head of People – Enterprise Data Organization.
In her expanded role, Bhavna will continue to lead the global people agenda for the Enterprise Data organization while also driving the broader India region people strategy. Her mandate spans people strategy, mergers and integration, culture and engagement, enterprise change management, talent management and development, organization design, and building strong people experience programs aligned with business growth.
Bhavna has been with S&P Global since 2021, initially as part of IHS Markit prior to its merger with S&P Global. During this period, she has played a key role in leading HR strategy and integration initiatives, supporting enterprise-wide transformation and alignment across global teams.
Prior to joining S&P Global, Bhavna served as Managing Director – Management Consulting at PwC India, where she was part of the Leadership Team of the People & Organisation Consulting Practice. She worked closely with multinational corporations, Indian conglomerates, and promoter-led businesses, architecting growth-oriented solutions and driving transformation through systems, processes, and culture interventions.
Earlier, she held the role of Vice President – Human Resources at Genpact, leading global performance management, talent review, succession planning, campus talent programs, and HR strategy for finance and transformation functions. She also served as Business Head at SHL and held consulting leadership roles at Right Management, building deep expertise in talent analytics, organizational design, and strategic HR transformation.
Bhavna holds an MBA in Human Resources Management from Management Development Institute, Gurgaon.
