Harrogate, England, United Kingdom, March 2026 — Chameleon Technology (UK) Ltd has appointed Tim Cox as Chief Technology Officer. Based in Harrogate, he joins the organisation to lead technology direction and execution, building on deep experience spanning product and technology leadership, customer delivery, cloud-native platforms, security and risk management, and enterprise architecture.
With this appointment, Tim Cox brings a strong track record of stabilising and scaling technology platforms, improving delivery predictability, and driving business outcomes through architecture-led transformation. His experience reflects leadership across product, technology, operations, and customer experience functions, with a continued focus on building scalable platforms and high-performing teams.
Before joining Chameleon Technology (UK) Ltd, Tim Cox served at Sycurio, where he held senior leadership responsibilities including Chief Product and Technology Officer (CPTO) and VP Customer Delivery, contributing to customer delivery priorities and technology and product leadership in a hybrid environment.
Earlier, he spent significant years with Sorted Group, where he served as VP Customer Experience and Chief Technology Officer, leading platform stabilisation, observability and monitoring standards, development and quality process improvements, and major product development initiatives. His work included re-architecting cloud-native products, defining enterprise architecture and automation priorities, strengthening security and risk processes, consolidating onboarding and support capabilities, and contributing as a key executive during the company’s LSE (AIM) listing process.
Before this, he worked with Apica Systems as Chief Technology Officer, where he led modernisation of synthetic monitoring services, transitioned legacy technology stacks toward scalable open-source architectures, strengthened delivery predictability through improved engineering methodologies, introduced KPI tracking and reporting, and progressed certification initiatives including ISO and SOC2-oriented foundations.
Earlier, he held operational and technology leadership responsibilities as COO, and led service product architecture roles within enterprise service environments, strengthening global support models, professional services delivery, and end-to-end operational processes aligned with customer success.
His earlier career includes senior roles in technology strategy, solution architecture, and delivery leadership across global organisations, including responsibilities spanning product and technical strategy, pre-sales and consulting leadership, service architecture, and large-scale internal and external solutions delivery.
