Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, March 2026 — Marsh has appointed Ananth Prabhu as Chief Growth and Strategy Officer. Based in Chennai, he joins the organisation’s leadership team with experience spanning insurance distribution, regional leadership, and long-term business growth responsibilities across the sector.
In his new role at Marsh, Ananth Prabhu will focus on strengthening growth priorities and strategy execution, leveraging broad market understanding and leadership experience built across insurance broking and general insurance environments. His move marks a transition into a senior strategic mandate within Marsh, aligned with the company’s focus on risk, strategy and people.
Before joining Marsh, Ananth Prabhu spent over a decade with Howden Insurance Brokers India Pvt. Ltd., where he served as President and Executive Committee Member, and earlier held leadership roles as Senior Vice President and Regional Head – Vice President. Across these positions, he contributed to leadership responsibilities in the Chennai region, building experience in client and business leadership, performance management, and organisational growth.
Earlier in his career, he worked with ICICI Lombard as Assistant Vice President, gaining long-term exposure across the insurance business in Chennai and developing strong fundamentals in managing business relationships and delivering market-facing outcomes.
He began his professional journey as Franchisee Manager at Kaashyap Radiant, building early experience in business operations and customer-focused execution.
