New York, United States, April 2026 — Stacey (Schroeder) Ortiz has been appointed as Senior Director Human Resources at Chip City, marking an important milestone in her leadership journey across human resources and talent acquisition. In this role, she leads the HR function for the fast-paced hospitality organization, with responsibility for organizational design, performance management, and learning and development. She also partners with executive leadership to strengthen employee engagement, foster a high-performance culture, improve operational effectiveness, and align people strategies with organizational goals.
Before taking on this role, Stacey (Schroeder) Ortiz served as Human Resources Director at Chip City. Prior to that, she was associated with Pandora as Interim Human Resources Director – Retail Business Partnering and Director of Talent Acquisition, North America. These roles added further depth to her leadership experience across HR strategy, retail business partnering, and talent acquisition.
Earlier, she worked with Party City as Director, Corporate Talent Acquisition and was also associated with Ascena Retail Group, Inc. as Director Talent Acquisition. Before that, she held talent acquisition leadership roles at Gap Inc., Kate Spade & Company, and Aeropostale, building a strong career across recruitment, people strategy, and organizational growth in the retail sector. She also worked with JBCstyle as Talent Acquisition Executive and served as a Volunteer with Biden for President.
With experience spanning Chip City, Pandora, Party City, Ascena Retail Group, Gap Inc., Kate Spade & Company, Aeropostale, and JBCstyle, Stacey (Schroeder) Ortiz brings a rich and progressive background in human resources, talent acquisition, and leadership development to her new role. Her appointment is expected to support Chip City’s continued growth and strengthen its people strategy as the company expands.
