Kolkata, West Bengal, India, April 2026 – Amitava Sain has been promoted to Executive Director at PwC India, marking a significant milestone in his long-standing career with the firm spanning over three decades.
In his new role, Amitava Sain will be part of the leadership team driving a high-performing hyperscaler cloud practice, focusing on end-to-end transformation for clients. He will also play a key role in establishing and scaling AWS services within PwC India’s consulting ecosystem, aligning business strategy with technology-led innovation.
Prior to this elevation, Amitava Sain served as Director at PwC India for over three decades, where he played a pivotal role in the Technology Consulting practice. During this time, he led Alliances and Channels, driving strategic partnerships and creating joint value propositions with global technology partners to deliver impactful client solutions.
With over 20 years of experience in management consulting, he has built deep expertise across service delivery, business development, partnerships, and people leadership. His contributions have been instrumental in strengthening PwC India’s consulting capabilities and expanding its technology transformation offerings.
Amitava Sain holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management, equipping him with a strong foundation in business strategy and management.
