New Delhi, Delhi, India, April 2026 – Mandar Deo has been appointed as President – India at JK Tyre & Industries Ltd., one of the country’s leading tyre manufacturers. In this role, he will be based in Delhi and report to Dr Raghupati Singhania, Chairman and Managing Director, and Anshuman Singhania, Managing Director.
With over two decades of leadership experience across global organizations, Mandar Deo will spearhead the company’s India business, focusing on strengthening market leadership, driving operational excellence, and accelerating innovation across segments.
Prior to joining JK Tyre & Industries Ltd., Mandar Deo served as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director at Exide Energy Solutions Ltd, where he led the launch of a new-age business focused on advanced chemistry cells, lithium-ion battery technologies, and energy storage solutions for transportation and industrial applications.
Before this, he held the role of Vice President – Power Systems and Integrated Supply Chain (India ABO) at Cummins India, where he was responsible for driving supply chain excellence and strengthening power systems operations across the Indian market.
He also spent over 16 years with Cummins Inc., where he held multiple leadership roles including Vice President, High Horsepower (HHP) India Business, overseeing end-to-end business operations across marketing, manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, finance, and human resources. During his tenure, he also served as Director of Marketing (USA), Plant Manager, Quality Leader, and Technical Specialist, building deep expertise across global markets and industrial operations.
Mandar Deo holds an MBA from Indiana University – Kelley School of Business and a PhD in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering from Penn State University, reflecting a strong blend of technical and business leadership capabilities.
