São Paulo, Brazil, April 2026 — Renata Baccarat has started a new position as CHRO / VP Human Resources at Ascenty. Her appointment marks an important leadership move for the company as it continues to strengthen its people strategy across a rapidly growing digital infrastructure and connectivity business in Latin America. With a career built across people and culture, HR business partnering, talent, compensation, communication, and organizational development, she brings broad international HR leadership experience to this role.
Before joining Ascenty, Renata Baccarat served as CHRO – People & Culture at Qive, where she connected the business agenda with the people agenda across areas including employer branding, talent attraction, diversity, equity and inclusion, people development, performance, people analytics, total compensation, people operations, internal communication, culture, infrastructure, facilities, and health and safety. This role further strengthened her profile as a senior people leader with strong cross-functional and strategic HR capabilities.
Prior to that, she worked at iFood as People Director, adding leadership experience in a fast-paced digital business environment. Earlier, she built a significant international HR career at Bacardi, where she spent more than eight years across multiple senior roles. These included HR Director Global Functions, Regional Senior HR Manager – Europe, Senior HR Business Partner – Southern Europe, HR and Internal Communication Manager, and HR Manager. Across these roles, she gained exposure to regional and global HR leadership, employee communication, business partnering, and people strategy across multiple geographies.
Before Bacardi, Renata Baccarat was associated with Whirlpool Latin America, where she served as Corporate Education Specialist, HR Business Partner Lead, and HR Business Partner. These assignments added depth to her HR leadership journey through work in education, talent, and business-facing people support. Earlier in her career, she spent more than four years at Ed. Abril S.A / MTV Brasil, where she worked as HR Analyst and began as an Intern, building the early foundation of her HR career.
Her professional journey reflects strong and steady progression across Latin America, Europe, and global roles in people leadership. With experience spanning technology, digital platforms, consumer brands, media, and manufacturing-linked environments, Renata Baccarat brings a well-rounded and international HR perspective to her new role at Ascenty.
