Indianapolis, Indiana, United States, June 2026 — Majestic Care has announced the appointment of Sarah Schacher as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).
Schacher brings more than two decades of executive healthcare leadership experience spanning human resources, administration, operations, workforce management, payroll, organizational development, and culture transformation. Throughout her career, she has successfully led complex workforce and operational functions while supporting thousands of employees across multi-state healthcare organizations. Her experience includes guiding organizations through growth initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, system implementations, and large-scale organizational change programs.
Prior to joining Majestic Care, Schacher served as Vice President of Human Resources at MGM Healthcare, where she led strategic HR initiatives, talent development programs, workforce planning, and organizational culture efforts across the healthcare organization. Her leadership contributed to strengthening employee engagement, talent acquisition, and people-centric operational excellence.
Earlier, she worked as Vice President of Administration at Jordan Valley Community Health Center, overseeing a broad portfolio that included human resources, information technology, employee education and engagement, marketing, public relations, corporate compliance, security, safety, and patient support functions. She played a key role in strategic planning, operational oversight, and organizational performance improvement.
A significant portion of her career was spent with Preferred Family Healthcare, where she progressed through multiple leadership positions over nearly twelve years. Most notably, she served as Executive Vice President, Human Resources & Payroll, leading HR and payroll operations for more than 4,000 employees across five states. In this role, she oversaw compensation and benefits administration, workforce planning, employee relations, HRIS governance, leadership development, policy formulation, and merger and acquisition-related HR transitions.
During her tenure at Preferred Family Healthcare, she also held leadership roles as Assistant State Operations Director, Business Manager, Administrative Assistant, Accounts Payable Clerk, and Billing Clerk, building deep expertise across operations management, quality assurance, employee services, fiscal oversight, compliance, and organizational administration.Beyond her corporate leadership journey, Schacher also contributed to community development through her role as Facilitator, Networks for Girls at Missouri State University’s Center for Dispute Resolution, helping young women strengthen their social, emotional, and personal development skills.
Known for her ability to align workforce strategy with operational performance, compliance, and organizational culture, Schacher is widely recognized for her people-first leadership philosophy. Her approach combines strategic vision with compassion, helping organizations develop strong leaders, strengthen workplace culture, and enhance the experience of both employees and the communities they serve.Originally from Missouri, Schacher now resides in Indiana with her husband, Luke, while maintaining strong ties to her Missouri roots.
