London, England, United Kingdom, July 2026 — Keller Group plc, the world’s leading geotechnical specialist contractor, has appointed Matt Stripe as Chief People Officer (CPO), strengthening its executive leadership team as the company continues to advance its global people strategy and support sustainable business growth across five continents.
As Chief People Officer, Matt will lead Keller’s global people agenda for a workforce of more than 10,000 employees, partnering with the Board and executive leadership to shape people strategy, strengthen organizational capability, enhance leadership effectiveness, develop future talent, and foster a culture where employees can thrive, develop, and achieve their ambitions. He will also oversee the continued evolution of the organization’s people systems, processes, and culture, supporting Keller’s mission of delivering world-class geotechnical solutions worldwide.
Matt joins Keller following his tenure as Chief People Officer at Lipton Teas and Infusions, where he led the global people function for the world’s largest tea business. Operating across more than 100 countries, with 13 manufacturing facilities and globally recognized brands including Lipton, PG Tips, T2, TAZO, and Pukka, he played a key role in supporting business growth, organizational transformation, leadership capability, and purpose-driven culture.
Prior to Lipton Teas and Infusions, Matt served as Chief Human Resources Officer at PZ Cussons, where he led the global HR function across 16 countries, supporting approximately 5,000 employees. During a major business transformation, he designed and executed the company’s global people strategy, led organizational redesign, partnered closely with the CEO and Board, and was appointed Chief Operating Officer for five months to support the company’s turnaround initiatives.
Earlier, Matt served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Laird, following the company’s acquisition by Advent International. He co-led one of the organization’s largest transformation programs, redesigning the operating model, supporting the transition from public to private ownership, delivering significant organizational efficiency improvements, and guiding large-scale cultural and leadership transformation. He also briefly served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Laird PLC before the acquisition.
Before joining Laird, Matt spent more than two years as Senior Vice President – Human Resources at Nestlé Waters, where he led the global HR function for a business employing approximately 35,000 people across 40 countries and nearly 100 production facilities. His responsibilities included global talent strategy, leadership development, organizational capability, and workforce transformation.
Matt previously spent over nine years with Nestlé, serving as Group Human Resources Director for Nestlé UK & Ireland, Assistant Vice President at the global headquarters in Switzerland, and Director of Human Resources. Across these roles, he led HR strategy for businesses employing thousands of people, overseeing organizational development, facilities, security, leadership capability, and enterprise transformation.
He began his career with BAE Systems, where he spent nearly two decades progressing through increasingly senior human resources leadership roles, including Head of Human Resources. During this period, he developed deep expertise in industrial relations, employee relations, workforce management, leadership development, organizational effectiveness, and HR operations within complex manufacturing and engineering environments.
Across four decades of international leadership experience, Matt has built extensive expertise in Strategic Human Resources, Executive Leadership, Organizational Design, Business Transformation, Change Management, Leadership Development, Talent Strategy, Organizational Effectiveness, Culture Transformation, Employee Relations, Industrial Relations, Board Governance, Executive Coaching, Succession Planning, Workforce Planning, Mergers & Acquisitions Integration, and Global People Leadership.
Education: Matt Stripe holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Organisational Design and Development from the University of Humberside, providing a strong academic foundation in organizational transformation, leadership, and business performance.
