Illinois, United States, July 2026 — Gardant Management Solutions has appointed Shannon Gutierrez as Vice President of Operations. Bringing more than 30 years of leadership experience in senior living and healthcare operations, Shannon joins the organization to strengthen operational excellence, enhance resident care, and support Gardant’s mission of delivering high-quality, affordable senior living services across its communities.
Prior to joining Gardant Management Solutions, Shannon served as Chief Operating Officer at Presbyterian Living, where she provided enterprise-wide operational leadership across three senior living campuses. Working closely with the CEO and Board, she led strategic initiatives that improved operational performance, increased annual revenue, achieved record occupancy levels, modernized clinical and dining systems, and delivered more than $2 million in cost savings. Under her leadership, the organization earned U.S. News & World Report’s #1 Skilled Nursing Facility in Illinois recognition while advancing resident-centered care and operational sustainability.
Earlier, Shannon spent six years as National Vice President of Operations at Anthem Memory Care, leading multi-community operations and driving sustained improvements in occupancy, profitability, regulatory compliance, and operational performance. Before that, she served as Regional Vice President of Operations at Silverado, overseeing nine senior living communities and delivering significant gains in occupancy, revenue growth, workforce stabilization, CRM transformation, and financial performance. Her leadership was recognized with the company’s President’s Award for outstanding strategic execution and operational excellence.
Shannon’s career also includes executive leadership roles as Executive Director at Lexington Square of Elmhurst, Regional Vice President of Operations at Horizon Bay Retirement Living, and more than 10 years as Regional Vice President of Operations at Sunrise Senior Living, where she supported operations across the central United States and Canada. She began her professional journey as Marketing Director at Genesis and previously served as an Alderman for the City of Hometown, demonstrating a longstanding commitment to community leadership and public service.
